Policy cancellation and refund of the premium shall be as per sole discretion of Insurer and the terms and conditions of the said policy which may vary from insurer to insurer. It may depend on whether the policy is cancelled during the free-look period or after free-look period. On cancellation, subject to applicable IRDAI regulations, the Insurance Company will process the request and initiate the refund directly to your designated bank account registered with Insurance Company.
While filling the cancellation form, you will need to fill in certain information such as, the reason for the cancellation of the policy, policy details, date of receipt of the policy document, etc. We are available to guide/assist you during the normal business hours between 9AM and 6PM (Mon to Fri).
In case of a refund due to an erroneous transaction, the Insurance Company will, as per their respective refund policies, refund the premium paid for an insurance product directly to your designated bank account registered with them.
